Although the 1960's Beltones were imports produced in Japan or Italy, the earlier Beltones were U.S. made. The New York distributer Perlberg & Halpin used the Beltone trademark during the 1920's-30's on instruments probably made in Chicago by either Harmony or Regal. So if your acoustic is an antique, it is probably one of these U.S. made instruments. SB |
