I've learned a bit more about Beltones that might be of interest to you Mike. Although the 1960's Beltones were imports produced in Japan or Italy, the earlier Beltones were U.S. made. The New York distributer Perlberg & Halpin used the Beltone trademark during the 1920's-30's on instruments probably made in Chicago by either Harmony or Regal. So if your acoustic is an antique, it is probably one of these U.S. made instruments. SB
