I don't know what backstory you have been told so I will tell you your guitar is a Japanese made Guyatone LG-70. A guitar very similar to yours appears in the book Bizarre Guitars of the 60's with a date of 1960. Their dating is likely not perfect but with the metal pickguards we are talking pre 1965 rather than post 1965. The guitar in BG has a stop tailpiece while yours has a trem, otherwise, same guitar.
As far as value goes, you are probably in the $350-$450 range to the right guy assuming the instrument is playable.

I recently bought a Jason guitar. I know the back story to them and i have been told by a guy from ibanez it was probably made in 1965-70. I was wondering if anyone out there has any idea abou this guitar and roughly how much it would be worth.

Of course the condition issues are going to hurt the price considerably. In Good condition (60%), the Bb suggests a price of $650. In Excellent condition (90%) they value it at $1,300.
This should give you a starting point for establishing value.

I'm only posting these two, I promise.
I got this 1970s Bruno Conqueror in another trade, and I'm curious what it might be worth. It's in absolutely beautiful condition. The electronics work, although there is a little hum. It has the tremolo bar, which seems to be rare. I haven't found any serious dings or finish problems. It kind of makes me wonder if anyone ever actually played it.
I've found a pretty wide range of prices on this guitar, and I noticed that you had one sold on here a while back, so I figured I'd see what you thought.

I recently traded for what a gentleman called "an old Gretsch in very poor condition." Turns out that that means a 1957 Gretsch 6190 Streamliner with a crack in the front and swollen inlays. Everything else was dirty but absolutely fine, and after popping out the inlays that were blocking the strings, the guitar plays like a dream. Good action, original electronics, original Melita bridge and G-Cutout saddle.
Unfortunately, I've not been able to discover much about the guitar other than it's a fairly rare bird. Streamliners originally had two control knobs and dyna pickups, but in late 1957 they changed to a single knob with tone switch layout and to Filtertron pickups. According to another forum there were only about 200 made like this before the Streamliner was replaced by the Anniversary editions. By serial number records kept by a guy on that forum, this guitar is likely the first or second guitar off the Gretsch production line to get the smooth top Filtertron pickup (pre-patent). 25674 had dynas, 25675 is unaccounted for, and this guitar is 25676 with a Filtertron, trestle bracing, and the new layout.
Anyway, I just blathered a lot of details for "not knowing much," but that's what I've found so far. I'm curious if you all would know more, have any ideas on value, etc. It plays like a dream, and I'm still deciding whether I should sell it or play it. It kind of depends on what it's worth, I suppose.
