I'm not sure who distributed Cameo guitars but according to Michael Wright at least some of the models produced in the late 1960's were built by Matsumoku.



I think your LP copy was built in the early 1970's by Matsumoku although I haven't found an identical counterpart to your guitar among the Aria LP copies I have looked at. The roller style bridge on your instrument is characteristic of early Arai/Aria instruments and was discontinued by the mid 1970's when Japanese copy guitars became even more accurate representations of the originals.

As far as price goes, here is someone asking $395 for their Cameo LP copy which sounds about right to me.
