In good condition we are talking about a guitar worth between $2,000-$3,000.
These early 70's SGs had a three piece neck. Are the cracks in the neck the result of the wood seperating along the seams?
The Lyre Vibrola tailpiece is a definate plus and increases the value of your instrument. The missing whammy isn't a huge deal since most whammys have been lost over time. A crack where the pots are is not a huge deal either since it will not effect the playability of the instrument.
 What finish does it have?
If you are indeed in Kansas City, I would recommend that you have Keith George take a look at it. The repairs shouldn't cost a lot and will add considerable value to the resale value of your instrument. As it stands, you probably wouldn't get $2,000, but with repairs you might get there. sbStatistics: Posted by VintAxe — Thu May 03, 2007 7:56 pm
