Quest guitars were built in Japan in the mid 1980's and their quality is generally considered to be medium to good. Condition is crucial when valuing these instruments and it sounds like your guitar has a few issues. The paint job will drive down the value substantially. The whacky 80's paint job is one of the things that give the instrument it's charm.

I think Quest guitars are generally priced between $175-$350 depending on the particular model and condition. sb

She also gives out a lot of feedback... but it looks great and is really really comfortable.
The original paint was grey/green triangles, that was taken off and black transparent laquer was put on so now its black but you can see the texture of the wood. A few bolts were replaced as well over the years, probably cause of corrosion. All in all, it's not all original but she's in good shape.
I havn't found anything on QUEST anywhere, except this site...
Any idea how much she's worth ?
