I bought this guitar at a pawn in 1986. I was a teenager at the time, and was in love with the style. It was a gaudy orange-red, though, and I summarily disassembled it, stripped it, and set it aside. A few years ago, I actually finished the project.

The original tailpiece was a stamped steel/chrome tremolo that absolutely would not hold tuning. The nut was white plastic, and I don't remember what the bridge looked like. But at no time did this guitar ever have any indication of a maker.
So, I turn to you good folk: Anyone ever see a gitfiddle like this one? I've done a lot of googling and haven't found anything with the rocker switch arrangement that this guitar has. After some tweaking, it plays and sounds wonderful. Feeds back like a demon if you let it. I'd just like to know what it actually is.
