There are a few things I know for sure about your instrument, a few things I'm pretty sure of and a few things I don't know. Let's start with what I know.
Your guitar is a Model 1.
I don't think Charvel was ever located in Fort Worth. In 1986 they teamed up with guitar distributor IMC of Fort Worth to sell a less expensive Made in Japan line of Charvel guitars. This import guitar line started in 1986 and was produced until 1989. I think your guitar is from this era.
A Model 1 is pictured in the 1986 Charvel catalog I have uploaded in the catalog section of the site. According to this catalog the only finish options were black and red. So, if your guitar is a 1986, it is not a stock color for that year. It also appears you guitar is equipped with a Kahler Trem setup. This might be useful for dating your instrument because I think in 1987 they switched to a less expensive Licensed by Jackson Floyd Rose trem.
So, the color says "Not 86" but if the trem is indeed a Kahler this would suggest it probably is an 86. Check the trem to see if what I think I see in the picture is a Kahler stamp.
As for those those skull and crossbone tuners I just don't know. I've never seen any mention of them being used. sb

at Vintaxe that Charvels were at Fort Worth Tx for the first year
I think it was 1979 ?. then moved to California.
It is a Charvel. it has a bolt-on neck, 4 bolts, on the back of that plate
the number is, 241879, and says Charvel, the top of the neck on the front
under the tuning keys says, Charvel by Jackson/Charvel. Tuning keys are
black cross skull heads on the back of those says Jackson, it has only 1
dual-Pickup, and only 1 volume control knob, and a tremolo bar, I looked
at all the pictures and serial numbers, entered that serial number still
can't find anything that I noticed would help, you have any clues ?
