I've been looking around for a tailpiece that matches you guitar but I haven't found anything yet. However, I am beginning to doubt that it is Harmony/Stella.
Most of the war year Harmonys I have seen have one of the tailpieces pictured below. I'll keep looking, I think the tailpiece will be the key to identification.

Hey all....I've been lurking this forum for some time now and I have finally been inspired to post due to my latest guitar purchse/mystery. I suspect this may be an old Oscar Schmidt era Stella but I can't be certain....maybe you can help.
It's what I'd call parlor size and has a slotted headstock with classical style tuners. It's been neglected for ages and will definately be a winter project. There's a tag in the soundhole that I assume is from WWII that indicates that the use of metals is prohibited due to the war effort. The guitar is missing the bridge all together and the wooden strap peg will need to be replaced.
Anyone got any idea what I might have here? Am I on the right track with Stella? The fret marker is at the ninth and that makes me question if it may be a Harmony era Stella perhaps. Anything you got for me would be appreciated.
