Being highly regarded doesnt mean they are right. Most guitar dudes are pretty conservative- anything thats not a 59 les paul is an 'oddball'

What I learned is that the iconic image of Brian Jones playing his (
) contrasts with the reality that The Phantom was poorly made ( 
) and not very playable ( 
). Brian's was a one-off and perhaps better quality than the production model. Heads up, collectors.
