Your pictures are pretty dark but from what I can tell your bass is a model HJB-2 from about 1977. In the catalog illustration both pickups have covers so I can't compare the pups in your bass to the catalog.
Although some Hondo guitars were built in Japan, I've never heard of any Jazz bass copies built in Japan so I would say MIK.
