A friend on another forum posted photos of his Conrad guitar because it has the same pickups as my guitar and neck plate as my strat.

Riotonsunset, I found your strat in a 1976 C. Bruno & Son distributor catalog so at least we can put an approximate date on it. It retailed for $389.50 with case back in the day.

I have an undated 1970's Ventura catalog but your guitar isn't pictured. However, the following models are pictured:
V-1003 - A Les Paul copy
V-1005 - An SG copy
So, your V-1006 probably came along a year later. Unfortunately I haven't been able to nail down a more specific date for this catalog so far. If someone could date your guitar based on build characteristics, it would help me establish a tentative date for the catalog.
Your guitar also has the "Steel Adjustable Neck" plate that is strongly associated with Matsumoku production. It also appears to have a 5 position pickup switch which I've heard is associated with post 1977 production. Has anyone else heard this?
