Here is a fella from Japan that has a collection of Fresher guitars. Looks like there is only one V in the collection though, check the last photo in the series.

]]> 2010-03-05T08:59:32-06:00 2010-03-05T08:59:32-06:00 http://www.vintaxe.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=2242&p=8426#p8426 <![CDATA[flying v by fresher]]> Thanks v much for your replythis guitar really is proving a complete mystery as i can find plenty on the strats and les paul by fresher but absolutly nothing on this , it does have a set neck and a cover on the back that says made in japan and thats all the markings it has. it seems strange that while fresher made it seems thousands of les paul copys theres no info on the flying vwhich was so popular in the late 70s early 80s being played by in my opinion the finest guitatist ever michael schenker. I did actualy think of painting my v black and white thinking it was just a cheapo copy but now im not so sure, will keep on looking for clues to this guitar and thanx for your post.

No specific mention of a Flying V model. I checked all the Fresher material in the VintAxe catalog collection.The only Flying V style I could find appears in the 1981 catalog.It only has one pickup at the bridge, no pick guard and a Fender style tremolo bridge.Also has a different headstock shape. Not at all as accurate a Gibson copy as yours is.It's pretty common to find the other Fresher Strat, Tele, Les Paul etc. copies on the net,but this Flying V model just isn't showing up anywhere. Looks like a pretty nice guitar. Does it have a set neck or a screw on?

HI there i live in the uk and have recently aquired a flying v copy which is really good! Its made by fresher which i belive was a japanese company could any one help me with more info etc , an possibly a guide to its value[/i][/b]
