I need help identifying my Fenix guitar for many reasons. First of all my Dad got it for me in the 90s when I was in high school and since I loved my father more than anything this guitar is not only my favourite guitar but my favourite item in general.
The other reason is that I need to know what wood it's made of to help me decide on pick-ups. I've been looking around the internet and asking around for many years now and no luck. I have found some info on Young Chang guitars and I'm familiar with the whole story about him and Fender but I've found 0 info so far in my guitar. Couldn't even find a picture of my guitar. Recently though I found maybe the only other person in the world that has one like mine but he seems to have more or less the same problem lol Here's the link to his thread were you can also see how the guitar originally looked, asides the dodgy stickers of-course :p. 1 volume, 1 tone and 3 push-pull switches that are great!
I have slightly modified mine but in the previous link it's how it was. Changed pick-ups, wiring, push-pull switches, bridge. It's a beautiful thing, the body is solid and quite heavier than a standard Fender Stratocaster, the fretboard is great and fast, and it sounds great. Even with it's original pick-ups it still sounded better, at least to my ears, than a Mexican Fender my mate had back then.
Here are a few pictures of mine:

I love this thing and I just want to know where it came from and what it's made of. If anyone has any info on it, or if it is in any of the Vintaxe catalogues, please let me know, I 'll be forever grateful.
