i'm more and more convinced that his claims are total fantasy and this is 21st century chinese badge bootleggery which might be a deal for a fifth of the price, even just to hang on the wall.

I do not know anything about this brand but it looks like the body is made from at least 4 different pieces of wood. This "butcher block" approach to making a body bothers me and would be a deal buster. The beauty of vintage guitars is that we still had the trees to make one and two piece bodies. I'm no expert on how wood and glue and wood and glue influences tone, but aesthetically I don't like it.

i still couldn't really read what's printed under BROADWAY on the head, but from his ad text it seems to be " produced by SGC NANYO"
i'm finding plenty about nanyo basses ( some were very good it seems) but no mention of any teles yet.
