I didn't think about looking on the Jedistar site... :oops:

I've seen a few acoustics by them from a similar period, but not the electrics.

The new ones are made in China but this one looks to be made in Japan. Sorry, I just don't know much about them. :cry:

The pics below were taken after i had given it a good clean and repaired some cracks in the thin "wings" either side of the neck pocket, where it bolts on - not really structural, but looked bad. There are loads of chips in the lacquer, but that's just road-worn (or where it has been used as a hammer perhaps)








It has some great pick-ups on it, but no markings on them underneath. They do nice and clean to really dirty when turned up
The body is laminated (OK, it's plywood....) but it actually looks really good where you see the layers
It looks very very similar to old Columbuses from the early 70's - the pearl neck inlays looking pretty much identical.

It'sgreat to play, so I will be hanging on to it for a while...

Anyone ever come across one before?
