Hi, new here. I've found precious little information on these guitars. From what I can tell, they were manufactured in Japan, even though the Headstock reads Arlington Texas. Could anyone give me some more info? I'll upload pictures of my ax later, thanks.

Hi - Arlington, Texas will be the location of the importer/distributor of this range. It's a generic mid-80s Oriental SuperStrat - & I think we can be 99% sure it's Korean rather than Japanese.

It's a budget instrument - the ply body is clearly visible in the control & trem cavities - and by the 80s, economic pressure had largely moved budget guitar manufacture away from Japan, & into factories like Samick & Cort in Korea.

It might be worth doing a complete stripdown to examine hardware & electronic components for any kind of branding or country of manufacture - however this is very uncommon on Korean instruments - I've so far only occasionally found "dp" branded pots on some Korean guitars.
