I was donating clothes to my local goodwill, when this guitar caught my eye
(it was only 6 bucks, so even if it's a crappy model...i didn't lose an investment) OH, and I put a random string on it to see if the pickups and stuff work :P

Good kharma. :) If there was no string before you bought it I wonder what was holding the bridge on.

Hey hydropyro,

I do not have a positive ID on your guitar but based on the parts and the build characteristics I would say it was made by Kawai in the late 1960's- early 1970's.

If the neck is decent, it looks like you are about a $15 set of tuners of having it up and running again.

If the neck is bad, it is worth more than what you paid in parts.

If you bring it back to life it is probably worth around $100 on eBay. It is a cheapie model.
