Unknown Beltone

Hey all!

I picked up an old Beltone about a year ago. It doesn't have any serial numbers or anything on it anywhere. No stickers or anything.
It does say "Made in USA" on some of the electronics so I assume it's American made, but I read that Beltone is used by both Japanese and American companies so my assumption could very well be wrong.

I don't have the picture on any websites or anything and I'm not sure about how to post it here.

Any help?

I did a quick net search and found a few Beltone branded electric guitars that were actually made by Kawai/Teisco.There might be American made electrics that were branded as Beltone,but I can only find Teiscos. You need to open an account on a free image hosting site such as Photobucket or ImageShack.You can then download your pictures to your album, which will allow you to copy and paste links of your pictures into your posts.

Sorkin used the brand name Beltone on acoustic instruments they distributed from the late 1950's through the 70's. I don't recall seeing any electric Beltones in their catalogs but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I certainly don't have a full set of Sorkin catalogs.

If you can post a picture we might be able to determine the date/country of origin.
