Found this guitar ? possibly made by harmony?

I found this guitar in my grandparents basement. can someone tell me what kind of guitar it is/ when it was made? only thing on it is a patent that says "34-4127"

That's not like any Harmony I can find, either US made or the later,after 1975,asian made models.It would be helpful if you could post better pictures showing closer details of the headstock, pickups, knobs,bridge and tail piece.

Here are some more pics of the guitar, Not the best quality but not original tuners the original ones had to be replaced and there is nothing on the headstock its just that shape.

Definitely Japanese, going on the hardware alone.

Mid 60's, I'd guess.

I think you are right Michael. That pickup, knobs and trussrod cover were all used by Kawai around 1964-65. It's part of the Kawai EP series, I'm just not sure of the exact model.
