ID This Guitar? (George Harrison)

A Facebook friend posted this. We're wondering what it could be. My gut reaction was Teisco, though I don't see anything like it on Teisco Twangers ID Parade.

There's not much either visible or, as far a s I can see, original apart from the neck. From the headstock, it could be a UK - made Watkins or Wilson, these had Strat-ish headstocks, a zero-fret & used the same white-button Japanese -made tuners.

In fact, looking at some of the pics , I'm pretty sure it's a modded Watkins Rapier.

Some of those look exacty correct. I'm not certain it would have needed to be modded to look like the one George is holding.
