My great Grandmother gave me this guitar, it was in her possession
for what sounded like many years, but had no info about it
other than it was sold to her by someone who needed
the cash. please help me learn its history.

It's a Japanese Kawai made guitar,model S-180, mid to late 1960s. Often referred to as the Hound Dog Taylor guitar as it was used by the famous bluesman of that name.

thank you for the info and the photo, ive had this guitar since i was in junior high and i had not been able to get a lick of info on it untill now
