This is my first post here! I'm not a guitar expert, not even a novice. My father in law gave me this electric guitar today to sell for him, as he is moving out of state. Before I can attempt to sell, I have to know what the heck it is! There are no markings, and the pegs are after market. What to you guys think it is, and what is it worth ? Any help/feedback is appreciated, thanks in advance!! :P

Its a bit of a parts mutt but it seems based on an early or mid 1960's Teisco ET-120 Shape. The neck , inlays and bridge are definitely typical of a 1965-ish Teisco made in Japan guitar.

It looks like it has been refinished and like you said the tuners are replacements, not sure about the tailpiece but it could be original.

Depending on the condition it is in (is the neck straight and playable?, are the electronics good?, does it stay in tune reasonably?) I would say the value is around $100-$200 depending on condition and how fast you wanted to sell it. It is likely worth more in parts than it is complete.
