I don't recognize it Scott. As you know, virtually every budget guitar company in the world has produced a 335 copy. That trem set up is the guitar's most distinguishing feature and will probably allow you to ID it if you are prepared to sift through the Asian guitar catalogs.

I'm with mrblanche, it is certainly worth $20 in parts.

Will the seller ship it? I wouldn't pack it and take it to the post office for $20 plus shipping.

I'm reminded of the old Rodney Dangerfield line where he asks "want to make $20 the hard way"? Of course, Rodney wasn't talking about shipping guitars but it's the same principle.

the inlays are identical to a japanese kay i own.
but every other japanese brandname is possible.
go and get it, for a complete tremelo likethis one they sometimes ask and even fetch crazy prices on ebay.
love the looks of it, i would get it and get it playable again when i lived nearby the seller.

Thanks for the replies guys. To clarify, this wasn't something I was personally thinking of buying. A friend on an email list sent that to the group wondering if anyone knew what it was. I figured I'd bring it here because the guys here know more about inexpensive vintage guitars than anyone else I know.

The guy who posted it has a habit of buying guitars cheap and fixing them up, though he's usually buying more current Asian stuff (Chinese, Indonesian, Korean), then replacing pickups, adjusting the neck, levelling frets, etc. He's local to the mystery guitar. I'll have to ask him whether he took it any further.
