Looks like a Teisco of some sort.

Not a Teisco, most likely a Kingston or some other related Kawai brand.

i have to agree with big beat, a typical kawai produce, when you see any guitar with that design of pu's, either black /chrome or white chrome, the wirelike stringguide, a tailpiece like that, its kawai made.
can be produced under a enormous variety of brandnames.
when you'r lucky it's a good player but never a valuable one.

I was under the belief that Kingstons *were* Teiscos. I had a friend who owned a Kingston that looked a lot like the one pictured, purchased from Best & Co. circa 1972. That's why I said Teisco. Looking closer at the info on Teiscotwangers it suggests that Teiscos were sold as Kingstons, but that, by the time of the Kingston I have in mind, they were all Kawai anyway. So does that mean we might all be right?
