Mosrite copy.. Unknown Origin..

I've bought this guitar from used items shop. Headstock write 'KNIGHT Custom Built'

So, I have some questions,


1. Is it a vintage guitar? If yes, what year?

2. I can't find any information about this guitar. Is it Japanese or what?

Anybody, please help me figure out.

I'm not sure what to tell you lesshate.

The only Knight guitar company I know of is located in England and builds archtop guitars. The do build custom guitars so I guess it is conceivable they built your guitar.

Yes, I know Knight guitar company and base on the web gallery and history, I saw only archtop.

Chinese I'd say and recent. There is a Knight brand mentioned in the Chinese business to business listings but this Mosrite type is not listed as a current product. That doesn't mean they didn't make it. Their listing shows mainly Fender and Gibson knock offs (even down to the brand name).

So I'd say it's just one of a gazillion clone / copy types being shipped every year and probably just someone's own brand made and shipped in a job lot.

truss rod nut at the back of the neck

quite rusty electrical part


so far, i can't open the pickup because the rusty screw.

VintAxe, Knight Guitars confirmed that they don't make custom Mosrite style guitar.

the guitar you posted is completely different to that of the TS, pickups , tremelo, bridge, germanized carved body, controlplate, body shape, man it's completely different guitar!!.
