HARMONY H77 knobs wanted

it's a very small shaft on the pots , i haven't actually measured them yet .
i had 3 but my daughter lost 2 so i need 5 .......


also the 3 toggle knobs are missing and an original scratchplate would be nice to have too.

someone in london is offering me some knobs in fine condition he says for £100.

anyone care to comment?

How many knobs is he offering for this price opotable?

I think 100 pounds is roughly $150. If he is supplying all 5 knobs you need that makes the price $30 each which is high but not totally unreasonable for difficult to find knobs. If your seller is supplying fewer than 5 knobs the price quickly becomes unreasonable.

How important that they be original Harmony knobs? It seems to me I've replacement knobs on line that look *very much* like those and they're not very expensive.

ps, years ago i was looking for some knobs for my harmony archtop and found an old electrical transformer in a dumpster.
the bakelite knobs were just right.

I'm not sure about the dimension of the pot shaft for those knobs. I've emailed the guitar fetish guy before and received a response.

i think i scared the london lad off, his idea seemed to be i just send him £100 sight unseen.........

anyone here ever come across a guy who's initials are L.R. and calls himself a private dismantler? he just might be totally for real, but it smells to me.
