Is anyone familiar with a Magnatone Typhoon

Wow,pretty obscure guitar.What condition is it in? Not much info available. Someone on the net says they were made from 1964-1967. Here's a picture for others to see.





Can't find any asking prices,but I found a couple of Magnatone Tornados,the two pickup version, for sale. Yours being the three pickup version would be worth more,but I couldn't say by how much.

For a 40+ year old guitar it is in good condition. The neck is excellent no wear. The blue body has got a good amount of crazing and dings. It is missing one of the volume knobs and also a string guide on the bridge. Still it plays great.
I've been thinking of getting it refinished but was not sure if it would decrease the value.

Sounds like you got a good deal. If I were you, I would not refinish it. The value would decrease greatly.
