custom guitar

ok, so i understand this guitar isnt exactly vintage, but it is a custom guitar and i cant seem to find anything similar anywhere. heres the story my friend was doing some side jobs and happened to do some work for everlast, because he did a great job, he went into his guitar room so to say and grabbed a guitar and signed it for him. its a vaccaro x-ray, in orange sparkle, it has a peterbuilt sticker on it and of course is autographed. we dont have any proof about the autograph. we went to guitar center yesterday and they said the most they could give us was $200, which i thought was not enough seeing as how the guitar retail price is $1400. let me know what you think. if you'd like pictures, let me know id be happy to put some up.

I'm not sure what the value of your guitar might be but watch this auction to get some idea of what a Vaccaro X Ray will sell for on eBay.

Well foxyroxy, looks like ebay bidders think the guitar is worth $362 with $45 shipping. Like you, I thought the Guitar Center price looked pretty low but if you can pick up these guitars for under $400 on the Bay I don't blame them for only offering $200. Good luck with the sale. sb
