1941 Epiphone FT 75 Acoustic

I have the opportunity to purchase a 1941 Epiphone FT 75 Acoustic guitar. The guitar appears to be all original (with the exception of perhaps the pickguard) and is in good to excellent condition. Plays like a dream. There is virtually no info on the internet about this model except that it was made in Epi's New York plant from around 1935-1942. Seems to be a relatively rare guitar. Serial no. is 16500. Can anyone tell me anything more about this guitar and its value? Thanks in advance for your replies.

The Blue Book of Acoustic Guitars suggests a value of $1,400-$1,700 in Excellent condition and $900-$1,100 in Average condition.
