Gibson 335 value?

Hi forum gang,

I have a 1967 sunburst Gibson ES-335 that is in exceptionally fine condition, all original w/ an OHSC. Someone told me that I was "dreaming" if I thought I could get more than $3000 for it.

Is that true? Maybe I should just hang on to it.

I don't think you're dreaming J.

Assuming no Bigsby, the Blue Book suggests a value of $5,000 in Mint (98%) and $4,000 in Excellent Plus (95%). If it has a Bigsby, reduce these values by 10-15%

You must have been talking to someone that wanted to buy it from you.
