Silvertone "Mosrite" 1445L Slider

Picked one of these up last week Very good condition body wise (the back is almost mint!). It had a crackle and hum which I fixed (loose earth) and now sounds great with 7 different sound options (pick up selector and volume control slide for each plus master tone slide)
I know these were manufactured by Teisco (or Kawai) for Sears (mine still has the sticker on the neck plate) circa 1968, but there's not a lot of info available on the 'Slider" model.

Can anyone offer an opinion as to value / rarity?

The slider switches might seem cool but most guys want traditional controls. Mine hasn't sold so you figure out a reasonable price. The guitars are definitely well built so don't give yours away.

I notice the differences in the pup positioning, what's the significance of this? Some 3 pup models have them all horizontal, some have the neck pup slanted and some (like yours) have both neck & middle slanted. And they can be slanted in either direction. I can see why knobs are more desirable, those sliders take a lot of getting use to and don't seem to be as sensative as as the traditional controls
Mine has a few surface dings on the bottom neat the strap button, but apart from that it's in really good condition for it's age (and of course the whammy bar is missing)
Would it do any harm to remove the Sears sticker on the neckplate to reveal the original model number?
