1976 Gibson L-6S Midnight special

Just bought this guitar for $600 and was woundering if I paid to much and what it's worth. It's in good played shape. Thanks for your time.

I checked out some completed L-6S auctions on eBay. Some sold for more, some less. The ones that went for less were in rough shape. Sounds like a good deal.

Midnight specials were the rarest of the L-6S series (see here) but were also the cheapest*

I would concur with cheepy, and say your price is about right - assuming in good condition. Mint - you got a bargain, knackered - you overpaid. A white one is rarest of all.......

* they actually never appeared in price lists, but were made as a cheap version, so probably were
