Framus 6 String Acoustic

This Framus was purchased in Germany around 1972. Model 5/198 (King?), Serial #30287. There's a EX stamped on the inside label.
I'm forced to sell due to unforseen circumstances. :cry:

There's a young student interested in it & don't want to charge them too much, but can't afford to be giving away at this point. If it's worth more than the student wants to pay I will help her find the right guitar to keep her interested in playing. Any input on what it might be worth would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you in Advance!!!

Does it have a "zero fret," just slightly down the neck from the nut?

Yes, it has a fret about 1/8" from the nut.

"King" is mentioned here. Price range across all acoustics given as $300 to $700 US depending om model.

Best Framus resource has King here: Model 5/198 - They cost 495 DM in 1973. From the picture I want this guitar - I love the sound hole decoration and cutaway shape. Shame u need to sell...

I just asked because my wife brought one that sounds like that back from Europe, where she was in school in 1972. We were short of cash and sold it for about $100 in 1973. But it was a very high-quality guitar, worth a lot more than that.
