Did Kawai make guitars before acquiring Teisco? Or is this Teisco-made guitar, under the Kawai banner?
I find it interesting that a manufacturer's badge wasn't put on the guitar... is that indicative of the Japanese guitar makers?
I'd love to nail down the model for the Kawai at some point. I'm not looking to sell it as it has a good amount of sentimental value to it and it's not a bad guitar. It's got that "Wow, what is THAT?" quality to it.
And the Champ isn't going anywhere either. Cold War era amplifiers are great! And after all these years, it sounds great... all original parts.
