So my sister gave me this guitar and its def in need of some love and im looking at fixing it back up but have no idea what it is, the guy she got it from had changed the head stock on it and now theres no markings on it. It looks like a 1960s Del Ray but any input would be awesome.

Hi irishgirl089.
Your guitar appears to be a Kawai-Teisco build. I say Kawai-Teisco because Kawai bought Teisco in 1967 but continued to produce guitars using the Teisco brand. Generally speaking, Kawai's and Teiscos were produced in different factories after the merger.
The tailpiece on your guitar was definitely used on both Kawai and Teisco branded models between 1966 and 1968 and perhaps even later.
