What do we have here?

I need some help identifying a guitar a friend of mine has. It looks like a Gibson copy to me, made by Morgan Monroe? I've never heard of it, and neither one of us knows anything about these guitars. It was given to him by his uncle. It's actually a pretty nice looking guitar! The neck feels good and the action is decent. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Morgan Monroe doesn't make anything. They are an importer/distributor. Instruments are Asian made. Interesting to see an electric instrument. As far as I have ever seen they have only offered acoustic instruments. Here's their site. Contact them and see what they have to say about it.
