Can anyone tell me about Framus serial numbers?? I have a guitar with a serial number 45750 - 691 or I. I can't find out what model this relates to

Hey pilot1,

The serial numbers on Framus guitars are pretty useless for model Identification. However, based on the information you have supplied, I can tell you your guitar was made in September of 1969. The code 69I indicates 1969 as the year of manufacture and I as the month of manufacture. Since I is the 9th letter of the alphabet, the month is September. If you want to ID the model I will need to know the model designation. Probably something like 5/... sb

In doing some reaserch for a Framus I have listed on eBay, I found a great site. It had tons of pictures and information on older Framus models
