Hi,
I would like to try and identify this guitar.
not sure if i can post a picture so here is a ....
DESCRIPTION
looks almost identical to a 1960's KAY SG copy here http://www.myrareguitars.com/1960guitars.html
except
it has
pickups 2x white colour center, silver steel outer
2 volume control, 1 tone control standard looking black plastic knobs
2 white switches marked "mic" at bottom forward of pick guard which is black plastic with white outline (guard may not be original?)
Japanese "bigsby" style tremolo with single bar ((totally identical to KAY SG at above address)
the fret octave markers are a half moon inlay at the "thumb" position
3/3 head (looks more like the Espana 335 at the above website)
on the back is written stell adjustable neck, teiscogengakki,a serial number, made in Japan. cannot see any other markings anywhere
I think the teiscogengakki means it is a teisco guitar?
Any ideas appreciated
Thanks,
Pete
