I will admit that I have been known to whine about my Parker Fly punching me in the sternum when I play it sitting down. However, I recently read an article where Adrin Belew called his signature Parker Fly "the most perfect guitar" he had ever played. Now, I've got a lot of respect for Adrin. Anyone that has walked into an audition to play second guitar for Frank Zappa and Robert Fripp amazes and humbles me. Yes Steve Vai, that includes you.
Now, after seeing this Spear bass, I'm convinced I'm over reacting. If this sternum-grater can pass as progressive guitar design I'm clearly misguided. Maybe the young guys just never sit down.
