New Univox

I was in Future Shop (Canada) today and saw, of all things, a new Univox electric. Is that possible? I thought the company was long gone. Looked liked the basically same script logo I have on my '70s Univox LP copy.

Can't find anything about newly made guitars on the net using the Univox brand name. It's most likely that someone might have bought the rights to use the Univox brand name, but that doesn't mean that the new guitars have anything to do with the long gone original Matsumoku made guitars.Just like the new Hagstrom guitars. A distribution company bought the rights to use the name, but the guitars,made for them in China,have no connection to the original Swedish made ones other the name.
