What can you tell me about this case?

I bought an old Hagstrom bass and it came in a hardshell case
Today my buddy took the bass to a shop to be looked over.. The shop tech told him the case was some sort of rare "SS" (????) guitar case that was worth more than the guitar (?!)

Figured I would jump on here and see if anyone could tell anything from the pictures

SS? Since this was a Hagstrom bass, could he have meant SuperSwede? Any markings that may indicate it being made in Sweden?

I've been away from a computer for a very long time

I haven't seen any markings on the case to indicate it was made in Sweden and to be honest I wouldn't put it past the shop owner pulling my friend's leg about it.

I'm going to inspect it closer when I get home from work today.. If I can't find anything I'm going to go down to the guitar shop and talk to the tech...

for what it's worth I will post up anything I uncover.. perhaps it IS a super swede case? Or maybe it's just a normal ol' case like I thought it was
