haven't played that many gibsons but its easily there with the ones i have, the guitar is the dogs, real vintage looking, its a burny rlg 50 1982 model made in japan with the much famed vh-1 pickups that scream [ask the missus!!] I done a lot of research on gibson copies and for the money i don't think you can touch a burny and as you say the finish is real nice for a plaintop, like a lovely old piece of furniture.
