More specifically,it's an Alden 9908, made by Harmony and sold by Alden through their catalog. It is indeed a Harmony H-44 Stratotone with the Alden floral "A" logo on the headstock. The one in the auction is missing the bridge.

"Aldens was a catalog distributor. Until 1963 (?) guitars distributed by Aldens did not have a specific brand. They had a generic logo on the headstock (same one used by Wards), or another floral design with the letter "A" in the middle. Later Aldens used the Holiday brand."
