Names like Kingston and Silvertone only tell you who imported the guitar. To me, this isn't particularly important, I want to know who built the guitar.
The bridge plate and pups used in this tele were used on Teisco built teles in 1973. While it is possible another company also used this hardware, I would bet money this guitar was built by Teisco.
I just sold a marked Teisco tele with the Teisco style headstock a month ago for $300 without case. Given this guitar has a nice case his price is probably in the ballpark. You can see my tele here. Just scroll down, the guitars are in alphabetical order.
