Oh, geez, really??...

You know, I thought it was cool when Gretsch re-issued the Corvette... Vettes were totally under-rated guitars...

...but the Wilshire? Meh... thats one reissue I could live without...

Gibson/Epiphone had better watch out... they (and Fender) have for some time been on a path once trodden by GM and Chrysler... I don't think line expansion is going to be the answer for these guys...

I have a friend who's been looking for one of these Epiphones for a while. Their worth probably increased when one appeared on the front cover of a Freedy Johnston CD. I wouldn't mind trying one. Weren't there similar guitars with different names?

They should have done a straight reissue of the Coronet...just a wraparound bridge and a single p90...just like the originals

I'd have been all over that
