Solidbodies "The 50 Year Guitar War" now on DVD

Hi All,

Just wanted to let you know that Guy Hornbuckle's film project Solidbodies "The 50 Year Guitar War" is now available on DVD. Guy contacted me a while back about using catalog images from the VintAxe Catalog Library in the documentary. It is good to see the project is now complete and ready for distribution.

The documentary focuses on the competition between Fender and Gibson for the hearts and minds of guitar players around the world. Check out the promotional page here:



I haven't seen the DVD yet but the line up of contributors looks strong. Hopefully Guy will send me a copy before long and I'll follow up this post with my impressions. If you buy a copy, let us know your thoughts as well by posting back to this thread. sb
