Vintaxe Steve's New CD

Seeing a reference to it in Michael's thread reminds me. I received a copy of the latest CD by forum owner Steve's band Girl For Samson. It's very good, full of imaginative songs and imaginative arrangements, played (one would assume) using some cool vintage gear.

Thanks for the plug Scott, believe me, the band is very appreciative of your opinion of the record.

I've been a bit slow announcing the new record on the site for a couple of reasons. First, I'm a bit self conscious about promoting my record on my website, just seems a little self-serving. Second, I was waiting til we had songs available on the various download-a-song sites on the internet. Seems itunes wants $100 up front these days to host the songs on your record on their site. My band will pour a thousand hours into creating a record but balks when it comes time for a cash outlay to promote it. I think we jumped that hurtle last nite so we should be on itunes soon.
