RIP Toshi Seeger

Folklorist, Blues documentarian, and social justice activist Toshi Seeger passed Tuesday, July 9. Toshi’s 1966 movie Afro-American Work Songs In A Texas Prison is in the Library of Congress archives and she was the co-founder of Sing Out Magazine.

Her passing is just nine days short of her 70th wedding anniversary with musician Pete Seeger.
