old recording gear?

do any of you know anywhere that can copy digitally from an old 1" master tape? i've managed to track down half inch machines and two inch machines but not a one inch one. i have an old master tape i'd like to remix and release and would much appreciate any help re finding someone who can copy the tapes for me..preferably in the UK but anywhere is better than nowhere.

i think these machines started disappearing from studios in the late 70s

I'm a little confused as to what you have. You say one inch in one place but it looks like you refer to it as 1/2" in another(?). How many tracks are on the 1" tape?

I would go to some place like the usenet group rec.audio.pro and ask around.
