Humble Pie was one of my favorite concerts in the early 1970's. Steve Marriott was like a man possessed on stage and the band was madeup of very solid musicians. As a bass player, I particularly enjoyed Greg Ridley's bass work.
Here's an early 70's version of the band after Peter Frampton had been replaced with Clem Clempson. The sound is a bit rough but the energy is there. Check out "I Don't Need No Doctor" here:
BTW, I think Marriott did need a doctor. He died much too soon in 1991.
